Hey there! I’m Anna
I love coaching – it’s where I find true fulfilment and the chance to connect, uplift, and share with incredible individuals like yourself. My aim is to help you unlock your full potential and feel confident on your bike. My passion for mountain biking ignited in my early 30s, beckoning me to explore the vast array of breath-taking trails we have right here in Moray. The thrill and challenges of mountain biking instantly captivated me, leaving me hooked and hungry for more!
My coaching journey
I’ve coached sports since my teenage years, but it wasn’t until after i had my kids that i earned my British Cycling level 2 Mountain Bike Coaching qualification and and level 3 Leadership Award. I wanted to work in the industry but there were no local opportunities to do so, i decided to start with my own company- RideOut, a testament to passion and purpose!
Now with over 10 years experience and continual professional development, I’ve developed innovative techniques that empower individuals like you to conquer features you never thought possible, supporting you to ride with confidence, whether you are a beginner or professional rider. Riding bikes isn’t just about physicality and skill – it’s a journey that delves into the depths of thoughts and emotions, an integral part of the experience that never ceases to fascinate me.
We build skill and confidence on our bikes to enjoy adventures/races/holidays with friends and family. Imagine mastering new techniques and putting them into practice while conquering legendary trails, unlocking your sense of flow and confidence. The moment where things all fall into place is unforgettable and the rush of exhilaration is beyond words – welcome to RideOut Trail Days, where dreams become reality.
The magic happens when coaching merges with guiding. Bringing together my coaching expertise and Level 3 Mountain Bike Leadership certification, enables me to offer experiences amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the remote Scottish Highlands.
IN A NUTSHELL
Over the past 10 years I have coached 100s of individuals, guided epic adventures across Scotland, organised corporate events for Red Bull, co-founded Limitlass a mountain bike event for women, worked with film and media projects and raced endurance and enduro events. In addition, I work with the brands Endura, Deuter, Liv and Highland Bikes, as an ambassador. While I’m proud to share all credentials I’m still growing, learning and adapting my teaching methods all the time. Mountain biking is a fast evolving sport; nothing ever stands still.
Building your confidence on your bike is possible, in fact it’s easy and so much fun. You can ride the trails you never imagined you could, you can feel amazing on your bike and you will love every step of the process. Lets get started!
